has extensive experience in musical theatre production that includes having worked alongside
Manolo Fabregas and Otto Sirgo as Assistant Director and Producer for the Mexican production
"Como Ama la Otra Mitad" starring Julio Aleman. Her experience includes over fifteen years of
directing and choreographing such musicals as "Cats", "Crazy for You", "Phantom of the Opera".
"Jesus Christ Superstar", "Grease", "Song and Dance", "Beauty and the Beast", "Annie" at the
Gusman Center for the Performing Arts, "High School Musical", "Seussical",, "Broadway Record
Breakers" and recently "Thoroughly Modern Millie". Originally from Mexico, where she was a
three time national jazz competition winner, her passion for theatre and dance brought her to New
York City where she studied under Chet Walker. The depth and breath of her experience both on
and behind the stage is significant, encompassing the technical aspects of tap, ballet, jazz, musical
theatre, and acting as well as costume/set design, directing and producing. Her work has won
various awards which have included best public access television series (Westchester, NY) as well
as numerous commendations for her significant contributions to the performing arts in the
community.
Mr. Campisi is currently a private voice/musical theatre coach. He has trained in both areas of
music and theatre. He has directed/ musical directed such shows as: Catfish Moon, Bye Bye,
Birdie, Seussical the musical, The Boys Next Door, The Death and Life of Larry Benson, Fame,
Crazy For You, Dancing Solo, Children Of A Lesser God, Up the Down Staircase, God's
Favorite, High School Musical and many more. He has conducted shows for many high schools
and community theatres in Atlanta. He founded a Not-For-Profit Organization in 2002 called
JAM Ministries which is a free summer camp program for children grades 3-8. Formerly the
Program Director for the Miami Children's Theatre, he directed/assistant directed/ lighting
designed/technical directed/stage managed, up to 8 shows a year and taught classes from ages 5
and up. Mr. Campisi continues to work with local public school drama departments, advising
them on productions. He is a member of EDTA (Educational Theatre Association), Georgia and
Florida Music Educators Association, and is also a member of The International Thespian
Society. Mr. Campisi has done workshop classes with many of the top broadway music directors
and performers. He also is currently an adjudicator for Middle and High School Thespians and
has judged events all across the southeast.
