Broadway Musical Theater

The Broadway program is based on the interplay between the various elements of musical theater where children

learn to dance, act, and sing. Each class will consist of the technical aspects of ballet, jazz, tap and improvisation to

learn the various styles and choreographies of Broadway’s most famous musicals. It is  through this interplay that the

children will learn to successfully interpret some of Broadway’s most memorable musicals. The program will conclude

with a live theatrical performance. Instructors: Angelica Torres and workshop instructors.

Broadway Group 1

Ages: 4 years

Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Broadway Group 2

Ages: 5-6 years

Days: Mondays and Fridays

Time: 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Broadway Group 3

Ages: 6 years

Broadway Group 4

Ages: 7-8 years

Broadway Group 5

Ages: 9-12 years

Broadway Voice

The latest, and greatest songs from Broadway are used in this class to teach singing technique. Participants

use songs from Broadway’s most famous musicals to learn the basics of solfege (just think do-re-me), proper

vocal technique in regards to breath support and vowel formation, and sight-reading skills. Basic vocal

techniques will include positive breathing habits, posture, diction,phrasing, and interpretation of song literature.

Build confidence in your singing and yourself! Class meets once a week.

Broadway Musical Theater Advanced

Pre-Advance, Advance Broadway and Company are classes designed for students with strong skills in at

least two areas singing, acting or dancing. Is only by invitation.

Broadway Advanced Group II

Days:  Mondays 4:30-5:30pm

Saturdays 1:30 - 3:00

Company

Company group is designed for students 13 to 21 years old with a good level of singing, acting and

dancing and prior experience in Musical Theater. This class is only by invitation or audition. This class

meets Saturdays 2 hours and a half and includes Acting Workshop in Thursdays (one hour).

Company Classes

Days: Thursday 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Fee: Members $550

Broadway Musical Theater Adults

This class is back by popular demand! This is an open call for adults to get ready to have a wonderful time

learning tap, jazz and ballet focusing on musical theatre and singing. At the end of the course you will take

part in a full production (past productions include Mamma Mia and Chicago) and become part of our famous

Broadway family.

Acting Workshop

Acting and Auditioning Workshop Lights! Camera! Action! Do those three words thrill you? Acting workshops

often provide you with similar skills as drama class but they're taught by professionals who know what it's

like to try and break into the acting game. You'll learn great auditioning tips, improvisation skills, how to work

on your stage presence, and techniques to get more comfortable in front of the camera or an audience.

Even if you've starred in your school's drama productions, it always helps to flex your acting muscle with

new peeps in fun, new situations.

For actors, one of the best ways to strengthen performance muscles is through an acting workshop.  An

acting workshop is to an actor what a rehearsal studio is to a musician or dancer -- it's the bridge between

theory and performance.
